Mike is placed in the middle ground of photography, not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. He tries to keep pricing simple, including most retouching, usage and other costs within the fee.

Location case study photography

Project Description

For this leading construction employment group Mike photographed a work group on a railway in Kent. This involved having a visitors pass to be allowed on the railway, but escorted at all times. The site was in North Kent where works were being conducted on an area for a signal box to be located.

Included in the total cost was travel to Kent, pre shoot discussions and supplying the client with documents for the preparation of the TVP ( Track Visitor Permit ), one days image adjustments with light retouching.

Interior photography

Project Description

Situated on London City Island the new home of English National Ballet is a state-of-the-art facility housing offices, rehearsal and production studios, workshops and performance areas.

Shooting the interiors using natural light Mike used a tripod and long exposures to capture the beauty of the building. The shoot took approximately 5 hours covering the main rooms and some details. The images are to be used by the marketing team to promote venue hire, along with publicity around workshops and educational events held at the site.

Brochure photography

Project Description

The fantastic products supplied by Faulks & Cox are well known by many builders, gardeners and DIYers across the UK. Now rebranded as redGorilla, these images from 2015 are still heading up the marketing on the updated website, promoting the products to construction clients.

Mike worked with one assistant and the Team from Faulks & Cox at a small construction site near Birmingham. Portable battery powered lights were used, essential for the interior shots, and to show the detail on the products.

Industrial photography

Project Description

The Eurostar Engineering Centre situated at Temple Mills in East London maintains the fleet of trains opperating through the Channel Tunnel.

Working at the site over two days with one assistant and a veriety of lighting and camera equipment Mike shot trains being maintained the building and the people working at the depot. These style of images are ideal for company reports, websites and pr. A combination of set up shots and candid images were taken, all of them being retouched and optimised before being supplied about ten days after the shoot.
